School Occupational Therapist (OT) - Contract
Location: Opelousas, LA

Overview: Soliant, in collaboration with respected school districts in Opelousas, LA, is currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract position. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy services to students, promoting their functional independence and participation in school activities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, either individually or in group settings, to enhance their functional abilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Louisiana state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing intervention plans to address various occupational therapy needs.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
