Marisol at The Cliffs Hotel & Spa is continuously growing and expanding! We are seeking a gracious, thoughtful, and motivated part-time Server Assistant/Busser who can create a sense of luxury while engaging with guests in a fast-paced environment. We look forward to connecting with you!

Position Summary:

The Server Assistant/Busser primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, to reset tables to ensure efficient flow of service, and support the servers and hosts as needed.

Essential Functions of the job:

• Clearing Tables
• Resetting Tables
• Setting up dining room
• Supporting servers and other restaurant staff members
• Knows the restaurant table numbers
• Comply fully and consistently with all the hotel and restaurant conditions of employment and standards of uniform, grooming and personal hygiene
• Communicates pleasantly and courteously with guests, management and co-workers

Qualifications:

• Restaurant experience
• Energetic/Friendly/Positive/Reliable
• Ability to work quickly with an attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand continuously for the duration of the shift (eight hours).

• Ability to lift large dish bins and other items (up to 80 pounds) for the entirety of their shift (eight hours)
• Ability to work in stressful situations.
• Ability to move furniture and umbrella stands continuously throughout their shift (eight hours)

Education, Experience, Skills:

• High school diploma
• Working knowledge of guest services in a luxury hotel setting.
• Excellent command of English language.
• Ability to work with people effectively.
• Ability to multitask and work in mentally demanding situations.
• RBS certified
