Job Title: Guest Services Superstar

Reports To: Front Office Champion

Key Responsibilities

  1. Be the face of our hotel, welcoming guests with a warm smile and making them feel at home.
  2. Manage room allocations and keys like a pro.
  3. Keep a finger on the pulse of daily events and their locations.
  4. Handle arrivals and departures smoothly, making every guest feel special.
  5. Prepare guest invoices and process payments with accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Maintain a safe and sparkling clean workspace.
  7. Be the go-to person for all hotel information, services, and local area insights.
  8. Offer top-notch recommendations for local attractions, dining, and shopping.
  9. Manage mail, messages, and faxes with utmost confidentiality.
  10. Arrange transportation like a seasoned travel agent.
  11. Be ready to step up during emergencies.
  12. Answer phone calls promptly, professionally, and with a friendly tone.
  13. Assist guests with all guestroom features, making their stay comfortable.
  14. Record and track all guest complaints, ensuring they are addressed promptly.
  15. Communicate guest requests to the appropriate departments swiftly.
  16. Assist in resolving billing discrepancies with a keen eye for detail.
  17. Handle financial transactions with integrity.
  18. Use the property management system and other tech tools effectively.
  19. Inform guests about current rates and promotions, making every deal sound exciting.
  20. Show guestrooms and meeting spaces to potential guests with enthusiasm.
  21. Perform all other duties with a can-do attitude.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A background in customer service, with a knack for making people feel valued.
  • Previous experience at a hotel front desk is a plus, but not a must.
