Job Brief

Facility Security Officer (FSO)

DCS Infoscitex Sector is seeking an experienced Facility Administrator who is highly motivated to grow into the Facility Security Officer (FSO) at our Dublin, OH office. DCS is an employee-owned organization known for creating agile technology solutions across the U.S. Defense, Aerospace, Human Factors, and Security markets.

As a member of our support staff, you will work closely with the Senior Management Official (SMO) to support the Dublin facility and employees on all administrative and facility related matters.

Essential Job Functions:

As a Facility Administrator, you could expect to:

Support general office and facility functions.

Interface with various external government and industry organizations.

Order monthly office supplies through a corporate account.

Manage and maintain a log of office keys and access restrictions.

Coordinate orientation of new hires and out-processing of terminating employees.

Coordinate regular facility duties (e.g., facility maintenance requests, sign-in of visitor / logs and standard office practices) and general facility oversight.

Manage and make miscellaneous office-related purchases.

Within the first year, as you grow to become the FSO, you could expect to:

Conduct new hire orientations, briefings, and debriefings.

Maintain security records in SIMS, as well as other electronic and hard copy records.

Maintain accreditation of Dublin classified open area.

Process SF-86s for initial clearances, CV Updates, continuous evaluation and upgrades.

Conduct day-to-day security administration and operations for cleared facility under the National Industrial Security Program.

Coordinate fingerprinting as needed.

Support ISSM with weekly AIS audits.

Support classified contracts to meet established security requirements such as Common Access Cards processing, visit requests, building access requests, etc.

Interact with Project Managers to support their security requirements for their contracts.

Prepare courier authorization letters as needed.

Conduct and track pre- and post-foreign travel briefings, and input foreign travel in DISS.

Maintain and access DISS daily and other Government accounts as needed.

Conduct self-inspections of all security functions to ensure compliance - at least twice a year, brief Senior Management Official and Vice President of Security of these findings, and upload self-inspection into NISS.

Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing visit requests as needed.

Schedule, support, and monitor classified / sensitive meetings.

Support and assist in sustaining companywide and local security training and awareness program and maintain Training Databases.

Oversee, monitor, and respond to Security Call Center daily to include security clearance verifications.

Perform Document Control and Transmission processes (both incoming and outgoing) in accordance with NISPOM Rule requirements.

Prepare and coordinate destruction of material/media in accordance with applicable Standard Practice Procedures.

Provide assistance and guidance to employees seeking help on personal issues, especially those that might affect their clearance.

Monitor phishing emails daily; coordinate appropriate response to senders; report as needed through proper channels.

Investigate, prepare, and submit Security Violations Reports in accordance with corporate and DCSA policy.

Prepare for DCSA (Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency) periodic reviews.

Some short term travel may be required.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

At least an Associates Degree with at least 2 years of related work experience, or Bachelors Degree with related work experience.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: ability to attain a Top Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance.

Familiarity with DCSA procedures.

Completed the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course through STEPP.

Experience in DISS, NISS, and eQIP.

COMSEC experience - completion of courses required within the first year.

Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the Assessment and Authorization processes.

Ability to perform Project Management activities and collaborate with project leaders to prioritize efforts.

Ability to conduct periodic reporting activities to articulate project status to customers.

Technical background and experience.
