(Contingent upon available funding): 18.50 - 22.50, Hourly Work Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p with overtime as necessary Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The CVM Facilities Operations Specialist provides direct support to the CVM Facilities Manager, coordinating and supervising vendors and contractors on all recurring tasks within CVM Facilities, including specialized equipment preventative maintenance/service contracts, lab recertifications, BSC recertifications, inspections, EHS programs, while maintaining documentation of such programs.The CVM Facilities Operations Specialist must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees - faculty, staff, administrators, students, and vendors. The CVM Facilities Operations Specialist must be self-motivated with strong abilities in multi-tasking, communications, and organizational and people skills, achieving maximum customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED and four years related experience with increasingly greater levels of responsibility in executive assistant capacity or facilities management department.

A valid driver's license.

This position also requires advanced typing skills, proficiency in typical office equipment, and advanced-level communications skills (both oral and written). Ability to interpret policies and procedures. Work under minimal supervision. Computer experience including Microsoft Office, OKCorral (Procurement), and work order/work control type software. Customer Service, retail experience, job costing knowledge required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and experience in higher education, facilities management, or corporate setting.
