Walnut Street Center is looking for a Residential Program Manager to supervise a home supporting adults with Intellectual Disabilities. We offer competitive pay & excellent benefits in a rewarding and supportive environment.

Walnut Street Center is hiring full time Program Manager to work with Individuals with ID/DD in one of our Residential Programs. We are a nonprofit human service agency that provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live engaged and meaningful lives.*Candidates must have managerial experience and experience working with this population.

Essential Duties:

  • Handles all aspect of staffing; scheduling, on-call, training, supervision and relationship management.
  • Case Management; develops and implemented all aspects of ISPs, schedules medical appointments, program and clinical reviews.
  • Completes or delegates the completion of administrative tasks, including but not limited to: staff payroll, updating of manuals and approval/ reconciliation of petty cash funds, house accounts and representative payee accounts.
  • Conducts and supervises the teaching of activities of daily living, including but not limited to: social skills, personal routines, financial management.
  • Serves as a liaison between Agency and the individuals’ family, friends and guardians.
  • Implements and oversees the implementation of behavioral interventions.
  • Implements and oversees the implementation of emergency procedures that ensure the safety of the individuals, both in the home and within the community.
  • Administers and oversees the timely and accurate administration and documentation of administration of medication(s).
  • Maintains a physically safe work environment and reports work related injuries/incidents to Human Resources in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing a group home
  • Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass OIG, CORI, SORI and Driving background checks.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
