Responsibilities:
• Effectively develop, analyze, and resolve problems using critical path methods
• Analyzing data, developing recommendations on trends that may impact the production
• Create metrics and oversee processes that monitor progress and assist with identifying potential risks
• Manage cost and time constraints, eliminate waste, and improve methods
• Leverage knowledge and provide technical support
• Identify opportunities during the production process for Lean Manufacturing
• Conduct regular meetings with key team members and leadership to review progress, discuss issues, and present solutions
• Track performance and analyze the completion of critical goals
• Optimize resources and reduce inefficiencies
• Minimize waste by optimizing inventory levels and improving material handling processes
• Maximize equipment utilization and scheduling to minimize idle time and maximize production throughput
• Perform other tasks as requested
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a closely related technical field with experience working in automotive manufacturing
• Solid understanding of critical path methods in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex projects with a high level of autonomy and accountability for results
• Knowledge of ergonomic principles and risk factors
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
• Good written and oral communication skills, and skilled at using MS Office
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
