Hydraulic Modeling Engineer

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an enthusiastic engineer with an academic or professional background in hydraulic modeling related to wastewater conveyance and/or water distribution systems to support our Conveyance Practice Group in the Midwest region.

The desired experience level is 0-5 years. Minimum education requirements are a BS degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering; an MS degree is a bonus. Candidate should have knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic principles and analyses, experience with management and analysis of flow monitoring data, and using ArcGIS. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong desire to learn hydraulic modeling including using InfoWorks, PCSWMM, EPA SWMM, InfoSWMM, InfoWater, InfoWork WS, WaterGems, and/or EPANET.

Responsibilities will include working on planning and design projects within the Conveyance Practice Group. Hydraulic modeling will include wastewater collection system, water distribution, and stormwater model evaluations, investigations, planning, master plans; and assisting with the design of water, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure and pumping stations. The Midwest region office locations open for this requisition are Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland, OH; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN, and Detroit, MI.
