Parts Manager

Sun State International Trucks is a locally-owned dealership retailing International brand trucks with 5 locations throughout Florida. We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and precise Parts Manager for our Tampa location who will be responsible for managing an efficient and profitable Parts department.

Required Education, Licenses, and Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 10 + years of Parts experience within the truck or automotive parts industry
• 5 + years of Managerial experience
• Advanced computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
• Maintain a high sense of urgency
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position

Parts Manager Task and Responsibilities:

• Manages daily departmental operations
• Manages department personnel; including hiring, training, and coaching
• Analyze and maintain a proper inventory balance to satisfy customer demands
• Evaluate customer needs and resolve customer issues
• Monitor and manage department expenses and revenue compared to forecasted plan
• Maintain a competitive pricing strategy in alignment with market and competition
• Remain up to date on vendor and supplier products entering market
