Midwife - Certified Nurse Midwife

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive prenatal assessments, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and identification of risk factors
  • Monitor fetal development and maternal health during pregnancy
  • Provide education and counseling on prenatal care, nutrition, and overall well-being for expectant mothers
  • Assist during labor and delivery, using evidence-based practices and providing emotional support
  • Conduct postpartum assessments and provide care for new mothers and newborns
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for mother and baby
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Active Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
  • Strong knowledge and skills in prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Current BLS certification
