Responsibilities
- Presents and explains insurance policy options based on client needs and personal goals.
- Advise clients on suitable insurance policies depending on their needs and objectives. Close sales effectively.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- Utilize various computer systems for daily transactions, take premium payments, review, update, and make changes to policies, claim handling, and endorsements.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding policy questions, changes, and updates. Issue Insurance Documentation (COI, ID cards, etc.).
Requirements
- Property and Casualty License required.
- 5 years experience in personal lines and commercial lines insurance service and sales.
- Navigate and leverage the agency management system to access client information, process policies, and manage insurance-related tasks efficiently. Must have basic computer software skills.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail when reviewing policies, contracts, and client data to minimize errors and ensure the highest level of accuracy.
- Possessing the ability to work autonomously, arrange tasks according to their importance, and collaborate in a team-oriented setup.
- Act as a dedicated team player, fostering collaboration and supporting colleagues in delivering excellent service to clients.
- Tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations with empathy.
- Exemplify professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
