Moses Cadillac X-Time Parts Counter Person

Moses Cadillac, GMC, Buick of Charleston, WV is currently seeking a qualified professional Parts Counter Sales Person to join our rapidly expanding team.  As a Parts Counter Person you will be responsible for providing vehicle parts and or accessories to our professional technicians and retail customers while providing exceptional customer service.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to all customers and vendors.
• Process customer orders and recommend additional related repair items.
• Provide our Advisors and Technicians parts inquiry pricing and availability in a timely manner.
• Process and fill back counter technician parts orders.
• Gain superior product knowledge and understanding of vehicle components through available factory training to effectively help customers, advisors, and technicians.
• Assist with the daily inventory.
• Assist in maintaining perpetual inventories.
• Help maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the service counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and other information to customers as required.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.

Qualifications:

• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid WV driver’s license
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time
• Able to lift 40 lbs unassisted
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented

This role requires prior knowledge and experience of the vehicle parts industry. Experience at a local parts store is acceptable.
