Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the work of a team of Room Attendants and House Attendants responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of a specific area of the hotel. Ensure all standards have been met and train and coach the staff as needed.
  • Schedule work to be done daily, collect room and floor status sheets for assigned work areas, monitoring each Room Attendant’s daily progress. Coordinates work orders in assigned section. Follow up to be sure work is completed and release checkout rooms to be sold.
  • Monitor the performance of Linen Runners, assuring that there are sufficient supplies on the guest floors and checking cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators and Linen Closets.
  • Inform the Maintenance team regarding any maintenance job needed as soon as you discover the issue.
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Handle guests’ complaints and inform to the management team.
  • Be informed about daily room occupancy forecast and guests’ details. Organize daily work and labor needs accordingly.
  • Hold daily briefing and cooperate with other departments and outsourced staff.
  • Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of public areas, back of the house, Pool and Laundry.
  • Support with any other tasks within the division and/or any tasks assigned to by the management team.
