Job Description: Test and inspect product at various stages of the production process to determine product specification compliance and to maintain quality and reliability of products.

Equipment: Microwave furnace, muffle furnace, melt indexer, and scale

Duties and Responsibilities: Except as specifically noted, the following functions are considered essential to this position.

1. Conduct quality control tests in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to (MI, Ash, and pellet weight) at prescribed intervals per shift per line on all production lines for regular production lots and special tests.

2. Record test results applying statistical quality control procedures. Complete related documentation and report quality control results to affected departments.

3. Maintain organization and neatness of SPC laboratory areas.

4. Provide assistance to laboratory as required.

5. Perform spot checks on resin input blends when required.

6. Understand and comply with established procedures and work instructions of ISO-9001:2008 Quality System.

7. Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Work Schedule:

  • 3 days on - 3 days off
  • 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. / 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Rotate from day shift to night shift at end of each month
  • Paid a 10% increase per paycheck when working nights
