In the role of CAD Technician, we'll count on you to:
- Produce highway, roadway, and civil site drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software, with occasional assistance from supervisor or others
- Participate in BIM development and help lead technical training sessions for the group
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Associate or technical school degree or combination of education and relevant experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software
- Requires a good working knowledge of Civil 3D, construction documents, and technical knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
- Preference given to candidates that are local to Corpus Christi
- 5 10 years of industry experience
- Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation civil design software
- Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred
