Miami Valley Child Development Centers is a non-profit Head Start and Early Head Start program that focuses on providing early learning experiences to prepare children for kindergarten and school success. We serve children from 6 weeks to five years.

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time. Full-Year or Seasonal. Non-Exempt.

BASIC FUNCTIONS: Ensures compliance with the Head Start Performance Standards and MVCDC Service Plan, Policies and Procedures. Responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for classroom children. Supervises and evaluates other classroom staff. Measures children's progress in accordance with Federal outcomes. Ensures compliance with ODJFS, USDA, Health and Sanitation and Regulations. Ensures the implementation of the agency designated curriculum.

MINIMUM CREDENTIALS: Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field, bachelor's degree preferred. This position requires a valid driver's license.

SHIFT: 1st shift hours between 7:30am – 6:30pm (varied) Monday - Friday

LOCATIONS: Montgomery County

SALARY: Base salary compensation will be commensurate with meeting both Education and Experience.
