Summary

The preschool teacher must be fluent or highly proficient in English and Spanish, open-minded and flexible about co-teaching in a dual language environment (Spanish/English), and must exhibit passion for providing a high-quality bilingual (English/Spanish) education in an inclusive, multicultural, Christian environment. Must LOVE working with children and have previous experience in the field. Must be dependable and reliable in order to maintain a consistent and secure environment for children. Must be ready to work as a team player and follow our organization's policies, SC Early Learning Standards, DSS Regulations, and ABC Quality Standards. Must be ready to put on a smile every day and be positive!

Duties

  • Supervise, teach and LOVE children ages 3-4 years.
  • Create weekly lesson plans according to SC Early Learning Standards using the Procare curriculum provided.
  • Communicate with parents daily through Procare communications, emails or phone calls.
  • Keep classroom and shared spaces safe and clean according to DSS and DHEC regulations.
  • Participate in 20 annual compensated training hours.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • CDA or further education in Early Childhood Education (maybe complete upon hire)
  • Previous experience in the Education field in a licensed center (preferred but not necessary)
  • Transportation to and from work
  • Permission to work in the USA
  • Fluent English/Spanish Speaker
