Hourly: $19.45 - $23.75 DOE

**Incumbent eligible for a $500 signing bonus payable after 6 months of continuous service **

Medical benefits-eligible first of the month following 28 days of employment. All other benefits-eligible first of the month following 90 days of employment.

Position Overview: Maintain daily stock room operations. Complete assignments issued by Stock Room Supervisor.

Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Amount of Travel Involved: None.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
  • Complete assignments issued by Stock Room Supervisor.
  • Request Quotes from vendors to obtain best pricing for all parts requested.
  • Place stock orders.
  • Distribute stock and record information.
  • Receive orders and put the parts away.
  • File purchase order documentation.
  • Match invoices by copying purchase orders and packing lists as needed.
  • Enter and print purchase orders.
  • Conduct inventory counts daily.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Follow processes and procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • To perform this job successfully, must be able to perform each fundamental task listed above satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.)
  • 6 months Stock Room experience.
  • Or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient in math.
