Public Area Attendant

JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for maintaining all public areas of the lodge, ensuring the cleanliness of our lodge.

PRE-REQUISITES:

• Must be able to frequently bend/stoop, wipe, push and pull. and occasionally squat and lift up to 50lbs regularly. 
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends and other shifts as necessary. 
• Must be able to be standing or walking for long periods of time.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform tasks within production and service time frames established by the company.
• Must possess good customer service skills and ability to work as a team with fellow co-workers and management.
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Through the training process and your current experience, the following skills and abilities are required to successfully perform this job:

  • Clean all public space areas in the resort, including public patios.
  • Report any lost and found items.
  • Completes all assigned projects on a daily basis.
  • Maintains the Housekeeping area in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
  • Performs guest requests as needed in a timely manner – to include extra towels, roll-aways and other amenities as requested.
  • Performs laundry and housekeeping (cleaning rooms, making beds, etc.) duties as needed and as assigned.
  • Answer housekeeping phones in the appropriate manner as posted by the telephone.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
