Position Summary

In this position, the CAS Senior will play a pivotal role in fostering strong client relationships and delivering tailored advisory solutions. Your responsibilities will include understanding the unique financial needs and goals of our clients, providing accounting and payroll services, and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.

 

Job Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, understanding their financial objectives and concerns.

Technical Functions:

  • Oversee and prepare complex payroll services, ensuring timely and accurate execution, adherence to tax regulations, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Utilize accounting technology for routine accounting processes.
  • Customize accounting software to meet the specific needs of clients, optimizing functionality to enhance their overall experience.
  • Comply with IRS, state and federal tax requirements, and wage and hour regulations.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to clients on the use of accounting technology tools, ensuring they maximize the benefits of the implemented solutions.

Financial Analysis and Advisory:

  • Conduct analysis of client financial data to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide financial insights to support our client’s specific situation and goals.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Effectively communicate financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of advisory services.
  • Serve as a resource to other team members and provide training, as needed.

Continuous Learning and Industry Awareness:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in accounting standards.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills to provide cutting-edge solutions to clients.

Client Satisfaction and Retention:

  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or issues.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services to enhance overall client value.
  • Contribute to marketing activities that bring in new clients and participate in promoting new Firm services.

Performs other duties, responsibilities and activities as assigned. 

 

To Qualify:

  • Applicants must have proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Online.
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Five (5) years of accounting experience
  • Five (5) years of payroll processing experience
  • Three (3) years of financial statement preparation, preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and client-focused environment.


Skills for Success:

  • Technically competent in accounting and payroll.
  • Comfort working with a variety of software, and eager to learn new technology. 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
