Customer Care Representative

Evansville, IN

Join the DiVal Safety Equipment team in our Evansville, IN headquarters as a member of our fast paced and dynamic team. The focus of this position is to proactively acquire new customers for life and increase sales potential with our current customer base. In this position you will be the first point of contact for DiVal’s outside sales team’s customers, delivering the highest level of proactive customer service while maintaining workflow to meet defined daily workload targets.

Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Proactively make and return calls specific to your Sales Rep’s territory efficiently and professionally, making customer centric decisions to keep the customer for life.
  • Proactively follow up with customers to “Win” all open quotes for your specified territory in CRM
  • Proactively affect sales initiatives set by management by contacting TBD# of territory customer to meet and exceed established sales goals.
  • Contact TBD# of B and C level accounts via outgoing sales calls within your specified territory.
  • Proactively update/increase product knowledge to facilitate set sales objectives.
  • Continually promote company events and services through all points of contact with your customers
  • Work hand-in-hand with outside sales and territory managers to deliver exceptional sales success.
  • Process customer orders, returns, exchanges and contract pricing through the mainframe (AS400) system.

Skills and Requirements -

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills a must
  • Strong decision making and analytical abilities.
  • Microsoft Office and CRM experience a plus
  • High School diploma / GED equivalent with 1+ years prior sales/customer service preferred.
  • The ability to work 5 days a week, Mon.-Fri., 7:30AM-4:30PM.
