The Catering Sales Associate will report directly to the Catering Director and is responsible for maximizing the sales pipeline in our food and beverage operation. Position maintains the potential to become full-time and is currently based from home with occasional office visits.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads from a variety of sources.
  • Communicate with potential clients and understand their needs.
  • Generate proposals and invoices based on client requests.
  • Prepare order documents for production and shipping.
  • Work with the culinary team to develop menus as needed.
  • Visit client venues to understand event-specific needs.
  • Attend industry events to gain connections.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to reach target audience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Willing and able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to focus on multiple projects at once.
  • Willing and able to pass a background and drug screening.
  • Willing and able to travel as needed (10%)
  • Experience in event sales preferred.
  • Knowledge of catering marketing highly preferred.
