Family Support Worker

Brighton Center, Inc. is a private non-profit community-based organization with the mission to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment, and leadership.

Purpose:

Build a positive relationship between parent and child by partnering with Northern Kentucky families through the Every Child Succeeds program.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with parents prenatally until their child turns two in their homes.
• Provide evidence-based curriculum and activities weekly to caregivers and children.
• Provide connections to Brighton Center’s programs and community partners.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Be accountable for high-quality documentation and service to families.
• Work with families in Boone, Kenton, and Grant counties.

Requirements:

• BA in social work, Psychology, or related field or Early Childhood Education.
• Experience working with children and families in their homes.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Ability to set goals with families.
• Great data entry skills required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong commitment to cultural competency and a deep understanding of the value of diversity, equity and inclusion.

This is an Exempt position with a salary range of: $37000.00 - $38000.00
