Outside Shipping Loader Duties:

• Operate forklift, tractor, crane or other equipment to transport, stack and load trailers for shipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Identify trailers and verify VINs and COs against work orders .
• Visually inspect trailers prior to stacking and shipment and identify quality concerns.
• Utilize power tools (chop saw, nail gun) to build cribbing, blocks, or other materials needed for safe stacking and shipment of trailers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Experience operating a forklift, crane, and/or tractor is preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret work orders and drawings and identify trailers visually.
• Must be able to lift and move 80 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to stand and walk continuously for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to squat, kneel, reach, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb frerquently.
• Must be able to use power tools such as chop saw and nail gun.
• Must be able to wear all required PPE at all times while performing duties
