Summary
We are in search of a fun-loving person to lead our two's class. Would ideally have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, but must have at least 21 credits in early childhood education. Must love young children and be willing to get down on the floor with them, run around outside with them, and engage them in fun and meaningful activities.
Duties
Duties include leading a class of two year olds during the school year with the option of also leading a group during our summer camp. This includes creating weekly lesson plans, sending out weekly newsletters, holding twice yearly parent teacher conferences and writing progress reports, and coordinating with other classroom and schoolwide staff. Duties also include making sure the classroom environment is child-friendly and welcoming, materials are rotated, and the space is kept clean and in good repair. Duties may also include changing diapers and potty training.
Requirements
Would ideally have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, but must have at least 21 credits in early childhood education. Must have some experience working with young children. Must love children and want to spend time with them.
Nice To Haves
It would be great to have many years of experience working with young children, especially toddlers!
