Industrial Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Job Purpose

Responsible for operating the Lasers. Accountable for all results.

Duties & Responsibilities

Safety

• Ensure safe workplace and follow all safety rules
• Wear all required personal protective equipment
• Report all accidents & any safety issues to Supervisor or Safety manager

Quality

• Report any quality-related information to relevant Supervisor / Lead

Training

• Work with Supervisor to learn Pulverman processes & procedures
• Participate in relevant training activities

Productivity

• Report production, repair & machine maintenance information accurately to Maintenance Manager

Equipment

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment & plant facilities
• Perform machinist duties and responsibilities
• Read & interpret equipment manuals and work orders
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test & make adjustments
• Use a variety of hand & power tools, electric meters & material handling equipment
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report them to supervision
• Report all maintenance issues and work to resolve

Communication

• Collaborate with others to repair or move machines, equipment, etc.
• Provide feedback to Maintenance Manager for ideas & improvements
• Express ideas & thoughts verbally in a positive & productive manner
• Exhibit good communication, listening & comprehension skills

Workflow

• Provide maintenance support to manufacturing to maximize machine up-time

Physical

Requirements

• Lift, carry, push or pull frequently
• Squat / kneel, bend, crawl, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead & outward
• Sit, stand and walk
• Ability to work in hot & cold work environment

Qualifications

• High School Education or higher
• Able to read & interpret customer drawings
• Proficient using measuring tools

• Exceptional interpersonal skills
