Position Overview:

As an Asbestos Sampling Collector at PuroClean Home Savers, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing potential asbestos hazards within residential and commercial properties. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough asbestos sampling, ensuring accurate documentation, and adhering to safety protocols to protect both yourself and the occupants of the property.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Conduct Asbestos Sampling: Utilize industry-standard techniques to collect asbestos samples from various materials within properties, following established protocols and guidelines.
  2. Maintain Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulations regarding asbestos sampling and handling. Stay informed about any updates or changes to regulations.
  3. Documentation: Record detailed information related to each sampling process, including sample locations, collection methods, and any relevant observations. Maintain accurate and organized records.
  4. Safety Protocols: Prioritize safety during sampling activities, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety procedures. Communicate effectively with property occupants to minimize disruption and ensure their safety.
  5. Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain sampling equipment to ensure proper functioning. Report any issues promptly and coordinate with the team to address equipment needs.
  6. Communication: Collaborate with other team members, including project managers and technicians, to provide accurate information about asbestos sampling results and contribute to overall project success.
  7. Continuous Training: Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and advancements in asbestos sampling. Participate in relevant training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in asbestos sampling and handling.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in asbestos sampling preferred.
