JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you passionate about providing top-notch healthcare while maintaining customer satisfaction? Our vibrant pharmacy team is in search of a full time Pharmacist with a knack for excellent customer service. Your role would involve accurately filling prescriptions in compliance with state and federal laws, advising customers on their medications use and side effects, and liaising with physicians about patient concerns, all while upholding our commitment to safety and security.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Pharmacy degree and current Colorado State pharmacy license
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • Excellent writing and basic math skills are essential alongside the ability to comprehend technical manuals
  • Completion of 24 hours of continuing pharmaceutical education every two years
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Your attendance is vital to our operations.
  • You're expected to engage professionally with customers, health professionals, and team members.
  • Your familiarity with third-party billing is essential as you'll be responsible for customer charges.
  • You'll also oversee our records, control substance accounts, provide immunizations, carry out over-the-counter medication duties, and conduct efficient and compliant prescription phone calls.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES
As part of your Pharmacist role, you may direct and delegate tasks to support personnel, handle maintenance files, resolve conflicts, maintain insurance records, and oversee administrative needs in the absence of the department manager.

The ideal candidate will have stellar customer service skills, proficiency in basic math and accounting, excellent communication skills, and be knowledgeable about pharmacy laws and regulations.
