Meet The Arbors at Parksides Local Leader & Administrator, Samantha Duncil:
Samantha's journey with Americare began in 2010 as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in one of our skilled communities. Recognized for her dedication, she swiftly advanced to become a certified medication technician. In 2013, Samantha transitioned to the assisted living division, assuming the role of Program Manager in a newly acquired community. Her outstanding performance led to an interview for and subsequent appointment to her first Administrator position at Victorian Place of Union in 2014.
Since then, Samantha has served as Administrator for two campuses, showcasing her leadership and managerial prowess. Additionally, she has contributed her expertise as an Interim Administrator, traveling within the company to onboard and train new administrators. Samantha has found immense satisfaction in her multifaceted role, surpassing her initial expectations.
Outside of work, Samantha cherishes spending time with her four children and her new grandchild. She is an avid outdoors enthusiast, whether tending to her garden, caring for her chickens and three dogs, or enjoying hunting and fishing.

Position Perks:
- Salary: $60,000 to $65,000 with annual raise potential, commensurate with experience
- Bonus Plan: Up to $6,600 annual bonus
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health/vision/dental insurance, 401K, free daily meals, tuition reimbursement, and more
- Oversee nursing service administration and clinical supervision
- Implement and review nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures
- Interpret and enforce nursing policies and procedures to staff
- Provide clinical guidance and supervision to nurses and support staff
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and staffing requirements
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare standards, including inspections
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with LPN as the minimum certification (required)
- Current state nursing license with ongoing education certification (required)
- Leadership and Memory Care experience (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience (preferred)
- Authentic passion for people, community and senior care (required)
