SUPERHERO JOB SUMMARY

The Wound Pros LLC is looking for a superstar Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to treat our patients in various markets across Wiscoinsin to provide and manage advanced wound care to patients who are homebound patients or in long-term care facilities under the direction of a physician, ARNP, PA-C or other licensed health care provider. By leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence, we have been able to heal wounds faster and more efficiently. By joining our team, you will be able to be a part of our mission to heal wounds and prevent amputations in long-term care facilities.


WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED

  • 2+ years healthcare industry experience or related industry
  • Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
  • Experience working with healthcare related technologies, data, and software(s)
  • Excellent presentation skills In-Person & on Zoom Meetings
  • Prior experience in cross-functional roles and team collaboration
  • Experience in mobile technologies (Slack, email, AirCall, Push Notifications)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, organizational and planning skills
  • Technical aptitude with ability to adapt, learn quickly, and teach others
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), Zendesk (CRM),
  • Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive etc.

ATTRIBUTES NEEDED FOR THE ROLE

  • Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of 1-2 years (4-6 quarters) of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required, CAAHEP or ABHES accredited medical assisting program or LPN program preferred.
  • Basic First Aid/CPR from the American Heart Association
  • Maintain current Wisconsin State Health Care Assistant certification of MA-C.
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures and processes
  • Wound Care experience and/or Wound care Certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional environment
  • Must be proficient with medical instruments and equipment required by Wound Pros.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form.
  • Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Must have a full range of mobility.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license


WHAT ARE YOUR ASSIGNMENTS

  • Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for a plan of care in accordance with Wound Pros 6 Step Treatment Protocol.
  • Assure all patients are completely satisfied, by exemplifying Wound Pros standards for patient care.
  • Patient education and management
  • Notate findings and treatment course in-patient chart, including follow-up notes.
  • Actively participate in departmental activities to improve training methods and achieve company goals.
  • Travel to patients’ homes and/or long-term care facilities will be required.
  • Provide all services as described in the American Association of Medical Assistants Occupational Analysis (AAMA) and skill sets
  • Assist the provider with patient information pertaining to follow up care
  • Schedule diagnostic tests and referrals as needed
  • Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, perform procedures such as lab tests, wound dressings, etc.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative working relations with outside Federal, State and private agencies and funding sources
  • Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, staff and management
  • Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times
  • Maintain and ensure patient confidentiality
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


COMPENSATION

  • Hourly compensation of up to $45,000.00 per year, plus tremendous opportunity for professional growth and advancement
