A school in the Issaquah, Washington area is searching for a full-time, on-site, contracted Elementary Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking for a kind and caring candidate to support our Special Education Students!
Position Details:
- 04/15/2024 - 06/18/2024
- Full-time / 37.5hours a week
- Caseload: Elementary (K - 2nd), students with Autism and other Developmental Delays,specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
- Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans to acmodate varying learning styles.
- Monitor and track student progress; municate progress to parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes student engagement, motivation, and self-confidence.
- Implement behavior management strategies and support students in developing social skills.
Qualifications Required:
- Must have a valid Washington PEL with any of the SPED Endorsements
- Must have Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education, or related field
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
Pay Range:
- $30 - $45 an hour, depending on experience
