Job Description
Position: School Psychologist
Location: Fresno, California
Exciting Opportunity:
Join our dedicated team as a School Psychologist in Fresno, California, and make a profound impact on student well-being and academic success within a school setting. As a School Psychologist, you will utilize your expertise to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs, collaborate with educators and families to develop intervention plans, and support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement interventions and support plans.
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Advocate for students' academic and socio-emotional needs within the school community.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in California.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
