Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Experience
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Line controls experience (PLCs, servomotors, VFDs, panels, etc.).

Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic evaluation on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment and make repairs when needed.
- Strong assessment and troubleshooting skills (Mechanical, Electrical, PLC, Inverter, and Process).
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending procedures, blueprints, and manuals.
- Experience with performing planned preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs.
- Adherence to safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to maintain daily housekeeping standards and perform other assigned duties.
- Self-managing/self-starter with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Clear and effective communicator.
- Experience in the installation of new lines is desirable.
- Welding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Working in accordance with company Quality and Health and Safety procedures at all times.
- Safe installation and upkeep of all main production and auxiliary equipment.
- Delivering fast, effective electrical/mechanical fault-finding, identifying root causes, and implementing preventative solutions.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring correct identification and location of spare parts inventory.
- Practicing continuous improvement, innovation, and pro-activeness for improved ways of working.
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested.

Work Environment/Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to perform physical work for extended periods of time.
- Possible weekend work and overtime required.
- Ability to frequently bend, lift, and reach.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift items up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to frequently push and pull items up to 105 lbs using lifting equipment.
- Ability to receive and give urgent and other essential communications in a factory environment.
- Ability to detect abnormalities in the process and receive safety signals using visual, tactile, or auditory senses.

Qualifications and Education
- High School Diploma or GED required; Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in a two-year technical degree program preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree is always accepted.

7 am to 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday). A degree of flexibility will be needed at peak periods.

Pay 26-28/HR

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
