Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team in Monroe, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pounding and dispensing prescribed drugs, providing drug information to healthcare professionals, entering medication orders into the puter system, and overseeing support staff. This position requires a current license with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy (RPH) and excellent munication skills.

Location: Monroe, LA 71201

Responsibilities:
- pound and dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
- Transfer prescriptions and provide drug information to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Enter medication orders into the puter system with precision and attention to detail.
- Monitor patient profiles to ensure appropriate medication use and intervene when necessary.
- Oversee the work of support staff and provide guidance as needed.
- Document any relevant interventions or interactions with patients or healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to state certifications and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.

Experience, Education, Training, Special Skills, and Licensure:
- Up to 1 year of experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written munication skills.
- Creative analytical thinker with the ability to solve problems independently.
- Current license with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy (RPH) required.
