General Manager

The Role:

The General Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business, operational, and logistical performance in a fast-paced startup environment. This role requires a hands-on leadership style with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.  The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where creative problem-solving, agility, adaptability and a high level of “grit” are essential.

Responsibilities:

·       Lead by example and take a hands-on approach; whether it's packing crates or authenticating items.

·       Drive operational excellence through agile decision-making, creative problem-solving, and prioritization.

·       Develop and implement operational strategies that align with our startup culture, emphasizing adaptability and rapid growth.

·       Manage and develop a diverse team, including hourly workers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

·       Ensure smooth day-to-day operations anticipating and addressing challenges proactively.

·       Maintain high standards of customer service, developing practical strategies to exceed expectations and resolve customer issues promptly.

·       Support and assist other warehouse as needed.

Qualifications:

·       3+ years of experience in operations, with a track record of success in fast-paced environments.

·       Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.

·       Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, hands-on approach to challenges.

·       Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.

·       A strategic mindset, with the ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail
