Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Order Entry Representative enters new orders accurately and timely and provides exceptional customer service to customers and co-workers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assimilate information from a customer’s request and input data into a proprietary software with accuracy and data integrity.
Perform comparative analyses of different data sources to correctly fulfill order requirements considering plant procedures and inventory requirements.
Collaborate with other team members, including the Procurement & Inventory Manager and VP of Operations, to ensure a cohesive and seamless customer experience.
Develop a deep understanding of our products, services, and processes to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
Provide outstanding customer service support by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints efficiently.
Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and utilize best practices for effective customer service and data entry.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Required Knowledge:
Proven working experience as a Order Entry Representative, or similar role within a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
Experience in Fertilizer or Agriculture preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven ability with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal relatability.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Proactive attitude and excellent ability to multi-task.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
