Material Handler 1st shift 7am to 3:30pm for $18.00
Material Handler 2nd shift 2pm to 10pm with some OT for $19.00
Responsibilities:
- Working with Raw Materials to supply for Machine Operation
- Assisting in Machine Operation
- Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material.
- Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material.
- Unload material from incoming trucks
- Arrange appropriate transportation of products.
- Stage sales orders for shipping.
- Process sales orders thru shipping software and ERP system.
- Inspect contents and verify count and content is correct.
- Assist customers with shipping inquiries.
- Place materials in correct bins locations
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
- Label materials with correct item number and lot code
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
- Communicate material variances in a timely fashion.
- Break down and communize order quantities.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- 2yrs minimum experience in shipping, logistics, or other related field
- Must have Forklift Experience
- Ability to handle a physical workload.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach and lift up 40 lbs.
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong moral and ethical behavior
- Experience sit down and stand up forklift
