Job Summary: Air Support Cooling and Heating LLC is currently seeking a HVAC Service Technician. The average technician takes home $70k-$100K per year. We Provide a Nice Work Truck with Gas Card. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems and be able to work independently. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance on all types of HVAC equipment.

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of HVAC systems in residential settings. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heating and cooling systems, as well as providing excellent customer service. Average 6-8 customer calls per day workload.

Responsibilities:

1. System Diagnostics and Repairs:
   • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of residential HVAC systems to identify issues.
   • Perform necessary repairs and replacements of components, ensuring systems operate efficiently.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration.
2. Routine Maintenance:
   • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to enhance longevity and prevent breakdowns.
   • Clean and replace filters, inspect ducts, and lubricate moving parts as part of routine maintenance procedures.
3. Customer Interaction:
   • Interact professionally with residential clients, explaining issues, and providing recommendations for optimal system performance.
   • Educate customers on proper system usage, maintenance practices, and energy-efficient options.
4. Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
   • Provide service reports to clients and communicate effectively with the service dispatcher.
5. Compliance and Safety:
   • Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations during all service and repair activities.
   • Keep abreast of changes in HVAC technology and industry best practices.

6.       Schedule:

·         10-hour shift

·         12-hour shift

·         Monday to Friday

·         Overtime

·         Weekends as needed

7.       Qualifications:

·         Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Service Technician in a residential service and maintenance operation.

·         Knowledge of the fundamental of operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.

·         Solid communication and customer service skills.

·         Must have appropriate trade tools.

·         Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

·         Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

8.       Educational Qualification requirements

·         GED or High School Diploma.

·         NATE Certification in two specialties.

·         EPA Certification.

9.       Physical requirements

·         Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs.

·         Ability to work in confined spaces and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units.

·         Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.

·         Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception.

·         Work assignments may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation to a known disability.
