Construction Intern

Established in Raleigh, NC in 1971, Piedmont Service Group is a privately held energy efficiency and facilities services company focused exclusively on helping commercial, industrial, institutional, and government organizations operate and maintain their buildings in a safe, healthy, and efficient manner. Our offices located across Virginia and the Carolinas allow us to serve our clients with a team of local accredited and licensed professionals.

We are currently looking for a Construction Intern to join our team.

Job requirements include:

• 0-5 years' experience in HVAC project management
• Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products
• Must possess excellent people and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.
• Must be self-motivated, and able to multitask.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs in assistance of loading, unloading and storing materials and equipment.

Essential job duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the planning and instrumentation of projects.
• Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
• Conducting administrative duties such as setting up meetings, processing submittals, copying plans, and issuing purchase orders.
• Installs in the field
• Performing all other duties as assigned by Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner.
