Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineering Lead to join our team. The Civil Engineering Lead is responsible for overseeing the proper performance of civil engineering projects, ensuring that the projects perform in the committed budget, schedule, and quality. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, scheduling, developing, coordinating, directing, and managing a variety of projects and portfolios
  • Following customer specifications and requirements and ensuring alignment across the internal team
  • Developing and evaluating plans and criteria for projects as well as planning and coordinating activities to be carried out by other staff
  • Providing site support during construction
  • Planning and leading basic and detailed design, managing/monitoring detailed execution progress, and coordinating execution of civil engineering design work packages

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree
  • Proven experience in civil engineering, including site development, parking lot design, and storm water management and design
  • Professional Engineering license
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Site grading experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • In depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and permits
