Job Description:

Eastland Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Central Supply and Transportation Aide.RESPONSIBILITIES OF CENTRAL SUPPLY/TRANSPORTATION:Order needed supplies for building and residentsOrganize and maintain central supply areasAssist customer walk-ins as neededCover other areas of the department and clerical area as neededChecking computer for record location, purposes of retrieval and filingSchedule resident appointments with nurseTake residents to and from appointments via the facility vanMust have a valid Driver's LicenseMust be an STNAOther duties as assignedJob RequirementsAt least one year experience in Transportation/Central SupplyHigh School graduate or equivalentAbility to work independently or in a team environmentStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to organize, prioritize and multi-taskBasic computer skills

Responsibilities:

• Order needed supplies for building and residents
• Organize and maintain central supply areas
• Schedule resident appointments with nurse
• Take residents to and from appointments via the facility van
• Checking computer for record location, purposes of retrieval and filing

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be an STNA
• At least one year experience in Transportation/Central Supply
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task
