Job Title: REMOTE- Director of Inventory Management

Reporting to: SVP of Operations

Overview

OI Infusion Services is a leading healthcare organization specializing in providing infusion therapy services. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care through innovative solutions and a commitment to excellence. As part of our growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Director of Inventory Management to oversee and optimize our inventory management processes.

As the Director of Inventory Management at OI Infusion Services, you will lead the end-to-end inventory management process for over $125M of annual drug spend. This includes efficient management of our various inventory tracking systems, oversight of daily/monthly inventory reconciliation processes, establishment of inventory transfer controls/forecasting, and implementation of strategies to enhance overall supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily and monthly reconciliation process across Materials, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure 100% accuracy of all drugs on hand across non-integrated systems.
  • Develop and implement standardized inventory control practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
  • Track inbound and outbound orders to identify backorders as well as prevent overstocking and out-of-stock items.
  • Analyze and review supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.
  • Generate purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems.
  • Partner with the Business Enablement team to develop reporting that optimizes inventory on hand through management of stale/expiring inventory.
  • Develop and manage robust inventory report detailing count and cost of inventory ordered, inventory on hand and outcome of inventory (infused/wastage/breakage/etc).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or another related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in material planning.
  • Experience with healthcare distributors is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Comfort working with non-integrated systems.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Business Enablement teams.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Executive presence to lead inventory management processes for our growing organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • This is a remote position. Travel required 5% or less.
