Seasonal Part-Time Maintenance Assistant (Camp Butterworth)

This is a seasonal (8-months) position, part-time (15-18 hours per week) with non-traditional work hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

High on a ridge overlooking the Little Miami River near Maineville, Ohio, Camp Butterworth is 152 acres of wide open meadows that mingle with forested hillsides and winding trails. Accredited by the American Camp Association for its high standards in both facilities and programs, Camp Butterworth has offered a variety of camping experiences throughout the years since 1939.

The Maintenance Assistant will provide property maintenance assistance that includes grounds maintenance, maintenance of equipment, light maintenance and cleaning of buildings, and customer service to all property users.

Requirements for the position are:

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three years' work experience in facility maintenance
• Knowledge of basic principles of construction, plumbing, electricity, facility maintenance, painting, equipment operation, inventory control procedures, and grounds maintenance.
• Experience with the operation and maintenance of grounds keeping equipment: mowing and snow removal
• Must possess a valid state driver's license and functioning vehicle.
• Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal background check as required by Ohio law.
