Location: High Bridge, NJ

Summary

To coordinate all aspects of outside manufacturing services. This includes communicating with various Production Managers, purchasing personnel and logistics to ensure we meet the customer’s expectations and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process all outside manufacturing service purchase orders.
  • Communicate with various departments to determine progress of work orders prior to shipping to vendors.
  • Prepare Status reports to communicate updates to management and Sales.
  • Process all outside service purchase orders, coordinate with Purchasing.
  • Coordinate incoming/outgoing logistics for all outside service purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update data in ERP system associated with outside purchase orders.
  • Track of special projects.
  • Maintenance backup to ERP Scheduling System.
  • Clerical/Data Entry as required to support Production Control Group.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically strong in Word and Excel.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing terminology and processes a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals with favorable terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively with little or minimal supervision.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Proven experience in purchasing and procurement.
