THE ROLE: Senior Solutions Architect

Presidio is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team! The Senior Solution Architect works closely with our Carolinas Pre-Sales Solution Architecture team to solve problems, guide customers on their IT journey, and deliver IT based solutions for our commercial and enterprise customers.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you're set to embark on an exciting journey with Presidio's Pre-Sales Solution Architecture team. You will play an instrumental role in constructing innovative solutions that truly cater to our customers' needs. Your collaborative spirit will merge seamlessly with our dedicated team, contributing to a rich tapestry of ideas and solutions.

You'll become a problem-solver, a solution provider, and a trusted consultant, developing outcomes that meet - and exceed - their expectations. Travel Requirements:

In this role you will be expected to travel throughout the Carolinas. It will be based around our Charlotte, NC Location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design around Presidio solutions, to include: Enterprise Networking, Cloud & Digital, and Security solutions.
• Provide guidance and leadership to both the Presidio and client teams to ensure next generation technology is understood and being evaluated in design criteria.
• Build and architect bills of materials, statements of work, proposal presentations, and diagrams to support the technical aspects of the sales campaign
• Align with Account Managers to identify additional architectural areas of opportunity in account base and develop technical strategy to address those additional opportunities
• Maintain customer relationships through strong communication and relationship building skills throughout the client technical and management team
• Work with Presidio leadership team to understand and relay technical input on Presidio pipeline and in quarter forecasted projects
• Evangelize new solution offerings and services, to better position Presidio as a strategic partner to our clients
• Maintain and Develop relationships with OEM partners from a technical perspective to ensure Presidio has a well aligned technical message
• Maintain currency on all technical aspects of your role to include next generation messaging and applicable industry certifications
• Develop skills and expertise in a technology focus area

Required Skills:

• Exceptional Problem-Solving Abilities
• Strong understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP model
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, IPSEC, QoS, etc.)
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto solutions and products
• Familiarity with Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) concepts and solutions

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• 7+ years of proven hands-on pre/post sales engineering experience or equivalent experience
• Must have work experience with wireless networking including:
  
  • Working experience with Ekahau wireless toolsets
    
  • RF Survey and Design experience
• Minimum of (1) certification required (Or equivalent experience) - (CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, OSCP, CompTIA Security+)
