Job Title: School-Based Licensed Independent Social Worker

Location: Worthington, OH

Job Type: Full-Time, 2023-24 School Year

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45am-4:00pm

Caseload: Elementary-Aged Students (Kindergarten and First Grade), 20-40 Students

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to elementary-aged students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' social and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention plans and strategies to support students' social and emotional well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and develop prehensive support plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Ohio state licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in social work and counseling.
