Virtual School Psychologist Job in Vermont

Job Type: Full-time, 1099 Contract

Vocovision is seeking a Remote School Psychologist to work full-time for a school district in Vermont to help close out the current school year.

Qualifications:

• Active Vermont certification as a School Psychologist.
• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a school psychologist.
• Proficient in using technology platforms for remote assessments, counseling, and communication.
• Strong knowledge of Vermont special education laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate students' intellectual, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide counseling and guidance to students to help them address personal, social, or emotional challenges.
• Support teachers in implementing strategies to promote positive behavior and academic success in the classroom.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records, documenting assessment results, interventions, and progress.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of school psychology.
• Collaborate with administrators to develop and implement school-wide programs and initiatives to support student well-being.
