Soliant Health is currently seeking a compassionate and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for an immediate opportunity within a reputable school district in Pecos, NM. This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence for the remainder of the school year.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational objectives and developmental needs of students within the Pecos school district. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive occupational therapy services aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans.
  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and track progress.
  • Collaborating effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate records of student progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Mexico state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to assess individual student needs and devise strategies to support their success within an educational context.
