Job DescriptionCompany Description
Leading commercial and specialty printing company in western MA is growing. Due to expansion and client demand the company is searching to hire a Lead Sheetfed Press Operator for day shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Read and interpret job orders.
- Make ready, operation and maintenance of multi unit 40" Komori sheetfed offset press.
- Check print quality throughout the runs.
- Print quality products on schedule meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Troubleshoot press problems as they occur.
- Lead ad assist press helper.
- Take part in client press okays.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience operating multi-unit 40" offset sheetfed presses; experience on Komori a plus.
- UV experience a plus.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills required.
- Good eye for color required.
- Able to direct and lead press helper.
