Job Description
Well established, customer-focused leader in High Quality Truck, Trailer and Heavy Duty equipment repair seeks a self-motivated, proven salesperson and “closer” for this key position. The successful candidate will have a history of building new client relationships, maintaining excellent customer service, and surpassing sales goals. Knowledge and experience in the sale of class 7 and 8 suspension and driveline and frame repair. Compensation structure includes a base salary plus liberal commission structure.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ability to implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan.
- Verifiable successful commissioned sales experience preferably with heavy equipment/truck repair industry.
- Initiate and control sales processes with new clients.
- Proven ability to find, contact, and negotiate with potential customers to develop business, create demand, and close opportunities.
- An established potential client base extremely beneficial
- Follow up and monitor projects with current customers to ensure their satisfaction.
- Close and multi-task sales opportunities
- Project a positive presence in negotiations to maximize revenues, gross margins and profits.
- Knowledge and passion for the Trucking industry is required.
Essential Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in the Class 7 & 8 truck repair and service industry is a plus.
· Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in class 7 & 8 truck repair and service industry sales.
· General knowledge of alignment, driveline, frame repair equipment and services.
· Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office & emailing.
· Be able to accommodate working hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
· Requires bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, lifting and other bodily movements with or without reasonable accommodation.
